Happy Friday! ✨ I’ve just interviewed three female founders pioneering ancient Indian approaches to wellbeing and beauty - as well as reigniting my yearning to travel to India they’ve also inspired me to read more Indian philosophies and spiritual thoughts. 🌿 We all aspire to wellness, happiness and inner peace and for me this is humility, simplicity, sustainability and spirituality - and tuning into nature - all connected to Indian wisdoms. 🌱 Here are some takeaways that resonated with me - link in bio. 🌿 @diipakhosla @indewild “I am real rather than perfect. Massage is an act of self-care - feeds into beauty through the Ayurvedic lens being a balance of inner contentment and serenity and outward physical manifestation.” 🌿 @nikimehta @fableandmane “Due to screens we yearn for the warmth of a mothers fingers and authentic connections. Hair-oiling penetrates the roots – but it’s about the need to relax and be rooted in the now. Herbal doctors prescribe different natural ingredients depending on the region. With education and awareness we’ll have fewer pharmaceutical pills. Indian women cook healthily and meditate and are rooted in their body and not their mind. Touch is nothing to be scared of. Loving our bodies the way they are is healthy. We are constantly being told we are not enough.
