Little fitness update 💪🏼 After breaking my workout streak of 864 consecutive days earlier this year, I ended up slipping and falling off my game completely. I went from working out consistently, every day without fail, to barely working out at all. I noticed my physical progress start to slip but more importantly, I noticed my mental health slipping as well. I tried setting myself little challenges and goals to try motivate myself but absolutely nothing seemed to work - I found myself getting into a cycle of feeling guilt about not working out, and then that guilt then leading to my motivation dropping even further. Eventually, after a very helpful pep talk from @xxluxeria, I decided to start my workout streak again from scratch. Starting back from 0 was the hardest part - but after just three weeks (currently day 22), I’ve never felt better. I don’t know if I’ll ever beat my 864 day streak, but I’m trying to remind myself that’s not really why I’m doing this. Working out every single day keeps me healthy and happy, it might not work for everyone, but it works for me, and I’m so glad to be slowly getting back on form 👌🏼 (And yes, I take rests, I do a minimum of 45 mins a day to meet my target but on rest days that’s just yoga or light cardio) ❤️
