In @jeanpaulgaultier ‘s Spring 1989 menswear show “Western Baroque,” a model wore a gold Lurex cowboy hat, shirt and jumpsuit all by Junior Gaultier. A sprig print featured on the shirt and jumpsuit; kudos to Gaultier for putting floral prints in his mens’s runway show. And I must say, those military-influenced pockets are wonderful. In fact, I think these pockets foreshadowed the pockets that would eventually appear on the olive drab wool Junior Gaultier jackets in Gaultier’s Fall 1989 collections.
