Father’s Day Brunch Series: Large Batch Spicy Bloody Mary
I think we can all agree that a cold, peppery bloody on a weekend morning is a true gift. And really, it just serves as a great vehicle for all of the toppings.
2 Tbs salt
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp pepper
Lime wedges
2 cups tomato juice
1 Tbs fresh lemon juice
1 Tbs fresh lime juice
2 Tbs horseradish
1 Tbs dill pickle juice
2 tsp pepperoncini juice
1/8 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
Few shakes paprika
Few shakes chili powder
1 Tbs Sriracha (more if you like it hotter)
1 cup chilled vodka
Garnish ideas:
Celery
Bacon
Pickled asparagus
Shrimp
Boiled egg
Grilled sausage
Meat and cheese skewers
Stuffed olives
-Mix the salt,chili powder, and pepper into a dish and rub the rims of 4 glasses with the lime wedge and dip the glasses in the mixture to salt the rim. Fill glasses with ice.
-In a pitcher, whisk together the rest of the ingredients and pour into the glasses.
-Garnish with whatever sounds good!
