1st DMI intensive was really difficult for Matthew, crying more than not crying... even though it was his 2nd intensive...it was the most difficult one for me as well. I was surrounded by so many children that were crying and working so hard. I kept thinking that all those children should be playing at the playground and enjoying their childhood.... and why do they have to go thru so many.... Intensive therapy is very exhausting, but the progress that you see after each one makes you want to do more. What's interesting also, is that even though they only work on physical challenges, after each intensive i notice that Matthew's making cognitive progress as well 😊 It's little things like paying attention more, or just looking at things differently... it's hard to explain, but it's happening slowly but surely. DMI is truly amazing and if your child has mobility challenges I suggest looking for a DMI practitioner, either for weekly sessions, intensives or both 😊 at dmitherapy.com *We miss you @onthefly_dmi ❤️ #disabilityforlife #disabilityawareness #disabilityadifferentability #specialneedskids #specialneedsbaby #specialneedsfamily #asd #raredisease #raregeneticdisorder #rarechromosomedisorder #chromosomedisorder #chromosome8p #invdupdel8p #agenesisofthecorpuscallosum #intestinalmalrotation #cerebralpalsy #hypotoniaawareness #centraladrenalinsuffiency
