I really like sharing things with you. When I first started out on Instagram, I connected with you in a special way. It’s always been such a thrill to me to see your comments and share my most memorable moments with you. This post is a very special one for me. In fact, it’s probably the most important post to me ever. Since I was 15 years old, I dreamed of working with iconic supermodel Esther Canadas. From 1998 ‘til now, she has been one of the biggest inspirations for me. Every fashion illustration, each sketch that I ever done, I did them to the likeness of her image. When I got the opportunity to custom make a dress for Harpers Bazzaar to be worn by Esther, it was a dream come true. People always ask me who is the most famous person you have ever worked with or who is one celebrity that you have always wanted to dress. While I’m fortunate enough to be a fashion designer who has had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the world, I am truly blessed and truly thankful for making my childhood dream come true. Dressing Esther is a full circle experience for the 15-year-old Michael. I wanted to tell you all that no dream is too big or too small, and that I am living proof that dreams and goals can come true. You have to work hard and remember to thank God for every opportunity that comes along your way.
