I saw a meme yesterday that said something to the effect of “look at Florida weather looking all cute, like it didn’t just try to kill us last week” and what a week we had. Thank GOD 🌀 Ian gave a little grace to my home in Tampa, but my heart was so heavy for my SWFL fam. I took a little trip down south yesterday to deliver and here’s a recap of what I saw, the pictures don’t do it justice. That storm wrecked SW FL, wrecked it ! I rarely ever post about work but I have to commend my colleagues for just helping from afar, raise money to help those I work with, locally. Some lives that have been turned upside down by this storm. Seeing Families loosing homes, needing to cloth their children & put food in mouths hurt my heart so bad. It EASILY could’ve been Tampa Bay. This doesn’t feel like enough but it’s a start. Thanks again work fam for comin thru. This blessing will undoubtedly reap hundreds of smiles and happy hearts. @faceitbotoxbar will be collecting more donations to help direct families, happy to connect anyone that wants to help.
