Oh the difference a day makes...
Sunday on the last few holes in Atlanta I started feeling a little weak and light headed. After getting sick at the course and constant cold sweats after my round and at home, I naturally had a terrible nights sleep. Some insane heart rate and respiratory rate numbers had me extremely concerned I had gotten something.
A negative covid test eased my mind a bit that I just had some serious heat exhaustion and needed some rest. I had a day full of naps, water, @livpur hydration/recovery to try and replenish my aminos and electrolytes, and today am in a much better place after some much needed deep sleep.
The reason I’m sharing is how powerful the @whoop has been for me, and how I’m able to use it to my advantage in situations like this. Knowing what goes into my body that can help, and how insanely important rest and sleep are. Because of wearing my whoop over the years I know what things work for me and what doesn’t. Regardless of how you “feel”, hydration and sleep are ALWAYS the best performance enhancer anybody can use. Happy Tuesday to all!
