Growing up in the hills district, regular trips to the movies fostered a deep love of cinema, cementing his desire to become an actor. Upon graduating high school, Jonathan spent time doing theatre in Sydney before successfully auditioning for the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), graduating after three years with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting. In his final year, he appeared as Romeo in performances of Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” at the State Theatre Centre of WA. Catch Jono in The Italians, playing October 23 - November 6 at @belvoirst.
