At the end of this month I leave for my journey with @hairloveretreat in Austin, Texas. It feels so right that I am returning to the same city where I accepted my 1st 🏆 @oneshothairawards this time last year. It also feels like something in the universe intervened to delay this retreat by a year 🪐(I got Covid in Austin last summer). At the time I had just moved into my new San Francisco apartment and everything was still in boxes. Being home for that week really allowed me to nest and bond with my new space. This year my PIC (partner in crime 😜) @_tara.rae joins me on this journey. She is an amazing hair artist, bad ass B salon owner in Rapid City, South Dakota and just a beautiful person inside & out. It has been over 2 years since we have been able to connect due to the pandemic. Her desire to participate in this retreat and my having to defer from last year just fit cosmically. I can’t wait to share our adventures with you. I’m the meanwhile. I am out of the salon for almost 2 weeks... so get those appointments secured ✈️
