✔️This is an exercise that is advanced when done dynamically but that targets muscular endurance, adductors (inner thighs), glutes, core, ql’s, & obliques in a better fashion than just doing the adductor machine.
✔️The side plank provides a great opportunity to target the lateral obliques & quadratus lumborum in an isometric fashion while the dynamic Copenhagen not only strengthens your adductors but also tendons and ligaments.
✔️Before giving this a try, add isometric holds to these variations of the Copenhagen working your way up to 30s.
✔️Get really strong in the hardest positions of this movement for a couple of weeks before going dynamic adding 3-4 sets of iso holds.
✔️One can also perform these with bent legs and using a bench with soft padding to hold the position more comfortably #boxrawwomen
