I stand with the women of Iran in their fight for freedom. I have stayed in touch with a woman who has shared with me first hand what it is like to be a woman there. I am going to share here what she wants all of us to know and I have to keep her identity private as she would be punished for speaking out. She is an amazing woman and she is us. Here is her message . In Iran, it is legal for a man to cheat on his wife with 4 women, and it is called marriage, and also he can have temporary marriages as many times as he wants. Because Islam has allowed this. This is just one case of anti-women laws in Iran, where a woman has no right to protest and if she does not have sex with her husband as a protest, she is considered a criminal. Now the women are protesting the mandatory hijab and the death of a girl named Mahsa Amini, who was killed by the *patrol guidance police* because of the incompleteness of the hijab. she was arrested and beaten, went into a coma and died. Of course, there are real men who are protesting next to women in the street, they are beaten, Wounded by a gunshot and they are died, but they defend women.
