I am SO excited to finally be able to say that my brand new series, Thailand: The Dark Side of Paradise is coming THIS MONDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER! ☀️ we filmed this at the start of the year and we’ve been working hard in the edit ever since. This is one of my proudest pieces of work to date. As with all of my programmes, I want them to always have a heart. I don’t like sensationalising; I like honest, real, raw conversations. I explore the sex industry, but also the vicious cycle of its existence and how tourism is responsible for it. I speak to some of the women who are forced into this work (through many different means) and how it impacts them. I explore the other side of the coin too, especially when it comes to the tourism. Both the beauty, and the drawbacks, the scarier stories, but also the positive ones. There is light, shade, laughs, tears, and everything in between.
