The United States Department of Justice has began prosecuting crypto scammers and NFT “rugpullers.” Two men have been charged with fraud and conspiracy after allegedly defrauding investors of an NFT collection. A rugpull, is when someone creates a crypto project, promising grand ambitions and an exciting roadmap, only to abruptly shut down the project after raking in generally millions of dollars.
