Easy mini cakes for Easter hosting 🐣 If you have not tried this new mini sheet cake flavor from Trader Joe’s... you need to! It is dangerously delicious and probably my favorite flavor! If you’re hosting this Easter and looking for an easy dessert, this is it! Grab as many cakes as needed, one bag of shredded coconut, and one bag of candy coated dark chocolate covered almonds! To do this cake hack you will need a 2 inch biscuit cutter. It is best to do this when the cake is slightly chilled but not too cold. Clean off your cutter after every other slice. Once all your cakes are sliced add shredded coconut to a pan and toast for a couple minutes on the stovetop - make sure to keep stirring and watching because the coconut can burn quickly. Top each cake with the toasted coconut to look like a birds nest and then finish with 3 almonds on each little cake! This was such a quick cake hack and the finished look is so cute!
