My first time seeing northern lights was an absolutely wonderful experience. After a month in Norway with no luck I got a forecast alert. It was two days before we needed to go back to Germany. There were some subtle lights in the sky and so I decided to go on a walk to find a good spot. I ended up walking for 2 hours alone in the dark until I found some cute cabins. Until then the lights got weaker and weaker. But as soon as I put my camera on a tripod, the lights got so intense for a few minutes. It was the perfect timing! After 15 minutes everything was over and I hiked back.
