Yesterday really was a special day. @mayorkeller came down to the Hotel to present me with The One ABQ Award for the work that we do at @mastapasyvinoabq with the Local Pottery Artists and Farmers at the @downtowngrowers Market. This was unexpected and I didn’t find out until recently that my dear friend, @potterlizabq from Ef.ceramics made it happen behind the scenes. Thank you so much Liz, this really touched my heart because of how much it meant to not only me and my family, but to the whole team who joins me every single Saturday as we walk together over to the Growers Market to kick off our day. This truly is a team award because there’s just no way none of what we do would work at all without all of us working together and communicating effectively. The generosity of our Ownership allow me to do a lot of very cool things and I’m really thankful for the resources available to me. Thank you, Phil & Gary. Even @lysa44 & Journey join us every Saturday after Taekwondo and have gotten to know many of the local vendors! It was pretty special to have them there to see this yesterday. It all started as an idea. It’s grown so much. And it’s all from the heart. Over the last few years we have created, implemented and expanded our Local program super substantially and it really is all for you, ABQ!
