It’s so crazy. When I first started visiting the National Parks, once it started getting dark...I couldn’t get out quick enough. It wasn’t until a visit to Arches in 2018 that I stuck around a little later than normal to get some light trails. On the way to the park exit...I got out of the car, turned off all the lights and just stood there for awhile. After my eyes adjusted...the show the sky was putting on with the stars was unlike anything I’d ever seen. I never REALLY paid attention before then. . So now I know better. The National Parks are the greatest show on earth...24 hours a day!
