Zero Waste is on the horizon for Atwater Village Farmer’s Market! Stationed around our market you will now find blue and black bins, and a white bucket for collecting liquids. Blue: cartons, jugs, paper, cardboard, hard plastic, glass and cans. These items should be clean dry and empty. This is why we have a liquid bucket! Black: flimsy plastics like chip bags or medical gloves, coffee cups that have that plastic-y film on the inside and soiled paper products like plates or paper towels. As always, fruit, veggie and plant scraps should be dropped off with @lacompost All electronics, such as batteries or light bulbs should be recycled at their appropriate locations. Thank you to Eric of @uwscompany for getting this started for us! If you have questions, read the signs, take the fliers. That’s why they’re there. Happy waste separating!
