Things I am concerned about when it comes to my personal artistry: 💄Color matching: How close can I get to the skin tone that’s exposed. 💄Color fluidity: Do all of the colors I’ve selected flow and play or contrast WELL? (Lip, highlight, eye, cheek color...) 💄Color depth: Did my contour play well with the darker tones everywhere else. Including the places where no makeup is applied. Yes I miss the mark, but not often. I try to look at the body as a whole and work that way. If my client came in a hazmat suit, I’m still asking to see her hands and arms.
