I was born at North Central Hospital in The Bronx, New York. Raised in The Hunts Point and Morris Park sections before moving to Albuquerque. I remember many walks through those streets wondering how my life would turn out. It’s been a blessing. The good, the bad.. All of it. So many special once in a lifetime feats realized. Last weekend and many years later I finished The @newbalancerunning #Bronx10Mile Race. I had never ran a single mile in my hometown prior. What a feeling! Just so many thoughts, emotions and memories, beyond belief. 9 Marathons finished in 4 years with #10 coming December 4th at the @runcim262 California International Marathon.
