Style icon 🤍 featured in @californiaweddingday print My photography these days still encompasses a dreamy timeless look inspired by color & true tones - but I love throwing in some moody moments here and there 🤍 I’m starting to share these more and more and embrace having both styles as part of my portfolio. I’ve never felt that I fully fit in any one category as a photographer, and honestly it has always bothered me or made me feel like I wasn’t doing “marketing” right. But I cant always fit my style in a mainstream box tied up perfectly with a bow. I’m heavily influenced by the variables you cannot control on a wedding day-And that is what excites me most + creates amazing photographs. Somehow the right people always find me and I’m grateful to have the most incredible clients who get it!! As soon as I start trying to heavily “curate” my work or shoot exclusively one way to attract one type of “aesthetic” my creative soul dies. I feel like I’m trapped in a box with no air holes. I’m inspired by so many different things! I want to breathe deeply in the moment and let the unique variables of the places I go, people I meet, and let different light shape my work. Using all of my tools, all of my skill, and a sprinkle of the unexpected. 🤍
