REPOST FROM @sequoianationalparkca High winds and heavy snow, sleet, and rain (depending upon elevation) continue to contribute to unsafe driving and visiting conditions in both parks. In addition to snow and ice accumulation, there have been many rock, mud, and debris slides, as well as fallen trees. At this time, the Sequoia National Park entrance station is closed, as is the entirety of the Generals Highway, and the Kings Canyon National Park entrance station is open to local traffic passing through to non-park locations only.
