gingerbread banana bars 🍌 gluten-free, vegan & refined sugar-free /// recipe below ⤵︎ wet ingredients: - 3 ripe bananas, mashed - 2 tbsp honey - 2 tbsp olive oil (or coconut oil) dry ingredients: - 2 cups oat flour - 1/2 cup almond flour - 1/2 cup coconut sugar - 2 tbsp ground flax - 2 tsp ginger powder - 1 1/2 tbsp all spice (cinnamon, nutme, cloves, and pepper - 1 tsp baking soda - 1 tsp baking powder - 1 cup chopped pecans (plus more for topping) to-do’s - preheat oven to 350 - grease your square baking dish - In your bowl, mash your bananas and add all wet ingredients, stirring until combined - in a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients and then pour wet into dry and mix until a thick batter forms. fold in pecans - pour batter into square baking dish, sprinkle with more pecans and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean - cool, slice, and enjoy!
