This week... If you follow along on twitter , Facebook , LinkedIn or one of my other platforms you might have seen this image of me. 11/11/22 it’s been an incredible week. I launched my book 📕 baby for pre -order. I had so many ideas on how I would share it with you here on Instagram but after posting on all those other platforms noted above I decided this was the image. When my publishing house @harpercollins @hcleadership asked me to take a picture with MY BOOK I was on my way to a shoot for a collection launching for @boymeetsgirlusa in December so I asked my photographer on duty @thomasconcordia to capture me. He said, “show me what this book means to you.” And with that this image was formed. To stand here holding this book is surreal. I am honestly in shock. So without further Adieu ... With so much gratitude, excitement, and #holyshitIcantbelievethisishappening - MY BOOK, Embracing the Calm in the Chaos, is now available for pre-order! This past week while we were getting all the engines together with my Harper Collins, #BOYMEETSGIRL ®, & #womeninweb3 team there were those moments of chaos to bring you all but I remained calm as my book will share with you. And to my surprise without even sharing on any digital platform the book is #1 in New Releases in Fashion & Textile Business on Amazon. I literally started crying when I saw this. After 21 years of building a brand from the ground up to see you are #1 before even announcing your book was beyond words can describe. This is my memoir business book, it is an accolade to entrepreneurs and anyone who has had an idea for a business and pushed themselves to bring it to fruition. It’s an expression of my love for everything I have been through to get to where I am today. It is here to inspire all the risk-takers out there and to know you are not alone. It is for new entrepreneurs, mompreneurs, and established entrepreneurs looking for insights and inspiration. I am so grateful to share this with everyone after 2 years of bringing it to life and a lifetime of writing on napkins, notebooks, and anywhere in between.
