I made a friend at the top of the Monastery hike. He did a trick where he stood on top of the donkey, in exchange, I gave him my water (he was thirsty, and yet I was still dying from the 900+ stairs hike) and some cash. He then helped us back down the trail where he and his friends gave us donkeys of our own to ride back the 2 mile walk to the entrance. I just realized I never posted my film pics from Petra.
