The deets👇 Popped an 8-point Tiffen star filter to my nifty fifty for that haze effect. Anytime this catches light, it creates a haze over your subject, giving it a nostalgic, dreamy, vintage mood. Placed the disco balls in a way that they would catch sunlight that would also bounce light into my camera sensor. When done properly, the filter will spread the light to look like a starburst. For the bedroom shots, I used direct flash to add light to the scene. I did this knowing it would set the mood to be editorial and also bounce off of her “disco” dress. Reflective surfaces work great for things like this! And boom. You’ve got glitsy, glamy, vintage, disco vibes for days.
