🌗 Did you know that artist Kapwani Kiwanga's spatial intervention "Off-Grid" on the Fourth Floor intentionally avoids the use of artificial light? As summer wanes and the sun starts to set earlier, you might find yourself walking into a dark gallery, especially if you're visiting during our pay-what-you-wish nights on Thursdays! Not to worry—Iviva, one of our Teaching Artists, will illuminate you! On Thursdays, from 7–9 pm, Iviva will be on hand to provide light to read wall text and share more information about the artist’s choice to only use natural light in the iinstallation.
