Cruz-Diez understood color as a physical experience. Cromosaturación transforms the color spectrum into a space you can feel, interact with, and become part of. He stated: “I don’t make paintings, nor sculptures. I make platforms for occurrences. They are platforms where color is being produced, dissolved, generated in a perpetual instant.
