A papsmear is when they swab the area. A colposcopy is a result of abnormal results from a papsmear. They look inside with a microscope, not inserted, they spray a dye on said abnormal area/cell group, and then biopsy that area. Either a hole punch method or what I had done, a brush. This is not to invalidate anyone’s experience, I’m just making this because I would’ve liked to see this before mine xx #fyp #colposcopy
