#BTGSpeakeasyStories - Our scene picks up in Harlem, in the 1920s... The crowd was lively tonight. James and his friends had all removed their jackets, they were much too warm from dancing to the band. The women, Pearl included, had retreated off of the dance floor as they sipped water and tried to fan themselves. It might have been winter outside the club, but if felt positively tropical indoors. Pearl caught James's eye and made a beeline through the crowd straight for him. She smiled broadly at him. "Well, all that dancing - I sure could go for a late night snack, how about you?" He nodded in agreement. "Unfortunately I'm not sure of a place that still serves food this late," he said. The night had gotten away from them and it was already past midnight. She frowned, disappointed. "If I ever owned a place like this, I'd make sure the kitchen was always open. No matter how late it was. I think people would appreciate that, a little something to eat while they drank and danced!" "What a good idea..." James said. πŸ›πŸΈπŸ€« #BathtubGinNYC - Our speakeasy is open Tuesday through Sunday, serving a full dinner menu and creative bespoke cocktails until late.
