DAY 2 of The Lost Coast Backpacking • 3AM start to make it through the impassable zone during low tide • Misty sunrise hike on slippery rocks and loose sand • Filtering and refilling our water supply from small creeks • Terrain and altitude change onto grassy slopes • Walking into a cloud at the Big Flat to finally set up camp before the final stretch! • 18 miles hiked 😵‍💫 Loved every second of it. Except for the moments I did not love. I loved every moment of almost every second.
