Now that it’s fall, I’m entertaining a lot more, and that means I gotta come up with some new drinks while I’m hosting at the house. I’m calling this one By the Fire. Smoky from the mezcal, complex from the botanicals in Amaro Montenegro, and balanced by the brightness of blood orange. Cheers to enjoying this one with good company. 🥂 By the Fire ⸻ Ingredients: * 1.5 oz Mezcal * 0.5 oz Reposado Tequila * 0.75 oz Blood Orange Cordial * 0.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice * 0.25 oz Amaro Montenegro * 2 dashes Angostura Bitters Instructions: 1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. 2. Shake well and strain into a rocks glass over a large cube. 3.
