As I haven’t been able to dive lately I’ve been going through old pictures and I often find gems once I’ve done some minor colour correction editing - like this one right here. This close up of a tiger shark has become one of my favourite pictures I’ve ever captured! I reckon there’s just something special in close up pictures. Speaking of close ups: if you look really closely you can see these black dots which are called Ampullae of Lorenzini. These are in fact pores filled with gel like liquid which help sharks to detect e.g. electrical fields.
