Lots of firsts happened for me yesterday. My first show, my first time in beautiful Roma, and my first Haute Couture... but it is just the beginning. And I feel so special that this show also symbolized the beginning of Valentino as a whole. I’m sitting here at a loss of words on what to write for this post. I think it’s because no amount of words will ever be able to say how honored and thankful I am to be apart of this breathtaking show. To walk for @maisonvalentino as my first is an absolute dream come true. I feel so incredibly honored to be able to be apart of something as meaningful and iconic as #ValentinoTheBeginning You could feel the overwhelming amounts of energy and love in the air. I just want to thank and congratulate @maisonvalentino and @pppiccioli on this show and for letting me do my best to embody the vision of this look. I will never get over this day. I will never forget these moments. When they told me I was going to do the glitter face, I was a little taken back and somewhat fearful.. but the moment I began working with @patmcgrathreal and the whole team, I felt comfort and immediate great honor seeing the vision of this iconic look come to life. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard on this and helped with this many hour long process; it couldn’t have happened without you. Lastly, I want to thank all of my family and friends at home for watching me and supporting me. You guys are my heart and my life and I wouldn’t be here without you.
