It's rare I shoot historic art objects these days, but it's how I started out, and I still have a soft spot in my heart for it, especially when my dad's involved. This is an early Columbia River carved spoon, with bird effigies, and a Northwest Coast halibut hook from the Maryhill Museum collection, where my father @beytstefanos is curator. They will accompany his short essays in an upcoming @craftinamerica book on American Craft.
