✨💥panorama💥✨ - @hayleykiyoko . my queer heart is bursting! 5 years ago I watched my first @hayleykiyoko music video and my jaw was on the floor. Never had I seen an artist be so unapologetically queer, in public, for the entire world to see. Growing up in Alabama, bold queer representation was not something you saw every day, and/or ever really. It wasn’t until I moved across the country to California that I realized repression, hiding who you are, down playing who you are, awkwardly shifting around the “do you have a boyfriend” question was in fact not normal at all. After moving I promised myself that I would be 100% unapologetically me, and that is exactly what I’ve done. After sweet @therealsarahmann showed me one of Hayley’s videos I told myself, some way some how, I will shoot a music video for this artist ✨ and here we are. This was the first of 2 videos we have done together and I couldn’t be more proud! Thank you @hayleykiyoko for trusting me with your vision and for being one of the most grateful people I know.
