✨ P E R M I N G Extensions ✨ I get asked all the time if you can perm extensions! And you absolutely can! Here is @hairby.nikole favorite way 🤗 •Make sure to start with straight extensions. •Wash them to get any coating off the hair. Now it’s time to perm your extensions! The solution I used is the ISO Option 2 (thank you @hairbyfranco for the recommendation!) It’s my new fave! This perm comes with: Pre-wrap, waving lotion... Oh, and the Neutralizer... Yea... we aren’t using that!!! (The hair will self neutralize in 24 hours) Also, neutralizer has peroxide in it that can cause the color to come out of your extensions. 💎 Perming Steps: •After washing, towel dry (I like to use paper towels) •Use the pre-wrap and comb through to evenly distribute. •Wrap like you would a normal perm. •Saturate the extensions with the waving solution. 💫 Process at room temperature. ⏲ Check every 2 minutes! (These took about 4 min.) !!️Rinse with HOT HOT water! Forever... you want to make sure you rinse..rinse..rinse. •Towel dry them really really well! NOW.... ❌ DO NOT USE NEUTRALIZER! Let them AIR NEUTRALIZE on the rod until they are completely dry! (This usually takes about 30-48 hours) And there you go 👏🏼 Next time you perm extensions try this & let me know what you think!
