A number of works by Shara Hughes feature in the group show ‘Nature humaine – Humaine nature’, which opens today at Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles. Building on Van Gogh’s ambition to develop his work in direct connection with the living world, the thematic exhibition looks at the different ways in which today’s artists take up the concept of nature in order to bear witness to the upheavals connected to our notions and representations of the living world.
