on our last day in margarita, mariana and I woke up at 4:30 am to watch the sunrise at @salmampatare we got there a little past 5:00 am and as we waited so see the flamingos fly over us, the salt mine workers were already in the lagoons starting their faena. we then went on a hike around the premises and swam in the ocean and after 3 hrs we parted ways from las las salinas and I low key wanted to cry cuz I ran out of film lol. this place is very dear to me since I could see the old abandoned salt factory from where I grew up in la caranta. it’s wonderful to see how the community has restarted its production using artisanal methods 🫶🏽 gracias christian por tan lindo paseo! ya quiero volver ya!
