My husband says to me, "I don't get it — why do we have to have our initials on everything — people already know it's ours." I was supposed to meet a friend for lunch, but she had an emergency, which is totally understandable. So, I thought I would stay at FOJ and eat since I was already here...then everything that could possibly go wrong did. My straw had a hole in it. My phone died. My food was soggy today (love you FOJ, but today was not my best experience with y'all), and there was hair in my food. Look, I get it; things happen in the food industry, so I understand this. But there I was, sitting alone at FOJ, not being able to eat my food, all awkward. It was a nice break, though, not looking at my phone and just being and breathing 🤣 🧘‍♀️. Afterwards, FOJ made things right and gave me a brownie and kale salad to take home, so sweet and a kind end to a not-so-great lunch experience.
