Well... that was a blast. 🙌🏽💪🏽 Shoutout to @floefsociety for having the bright 💡 idea to host a kitty foster/adoption event around a fitness competition. And to @sweat60la for hosting it! I only just met @swweeet_t & @swweeetd a couple of nights ago, the founders of Floëf, who are on a mission to transform the lives of cats and kittens in need. And what better way to do that than get a bunch of people together for a workout, with a pretty sweet prize for winners, with a whole bunch of the cutest kitties around. See, when we workout together or do some other physically strenuous activity that increases your 🫀rate and releases adrenaline, we are more open to connection after. The release of adrenaline and endorphins elevates our mood, creates emotional openness, a drop in cortisol, and opens us up to bonding over the shared struggle.
