So excited! When we met with executives at Metro 4+ years ago, Linear induction Motors were not a part of the conversation and many didn’t know what it was or what it could do for LA. Glad to see it now in the official proposal for the Sepulveda Pass Transit Corridor. Thank you team HyRail and specific thanks to @j7mm9 for making meeting magic!!! @ov1kanobe for believing and @piney_lee @jaredneutel for creating visuals. Stanford Caldera for Map making skills... @vickylizette for connecting me/us with you know! And thank you to the many others who were there and supported. We are retooling to create the next way forward now that our initial goals are complete. Not everything we were proposing/sharing about made it into this phase, and we are happy that Metro is considering these important money and time saving technologies that will give LA better reliability and safety on future Metro Rail Lines!
