This piece is a conversation to myself. The acceptance of being sad. Reminded by the most difficult times in my life and in my health. Mirrored by the incredibly challenging times many are going through right now. Sometimes we just have to have a little chat with ourselves. So then, our strength rooted so deeply in our core, is able to save us from crisis. I created this piece for @linettero & @tsw_seandillnutt talent show, The Itch Factor, presented at the National Eczema Expo this past weekend. I now realize after creating this piece how the skin pain and nerve trauma I’ve experienced has influenced my movement and how I initiate intricacies.
