Just an intimate story of me and the full moon 🌕💕: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last Thursday we did a SUP Full Moon crossing with @surfclubkerosofficial ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The shuttle buses drove us to a location across the Keros Bay, where we each received a SUP and a paddle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We started the crossing at sunset and when we were pretty much in the middle of the bay, we stopped and waited for the moon to rise.... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As it rose, it changed many colors and at one point it was completely orange/ red - I had never seen the moon like this... once it was completely dark, we carried on watching in silence and absolute amazement. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As we were making our way back to the camp with the moon reflection only gently lighting the waters surface, we followed the lights coming from the land like insects drawn to a light bulb 😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Occasionally we would come across fluorescent plankton bioluminescence and our SUP would light up and wherever we would strike the water with the paddle would light up too.
