Before I was fighting conversion therapy, I had a roommate that I was living with assaulted me resulting me doing an emergency move. I wanted nothing more than to take my life. With conversion therapy added on top of that, feeling good about myself was a constant struggle. I often struggle with feeling good about myself. And then I have moments like this. Thank you to everyone who made @conversionmovie for this unforgettable evening. I still struggle with self confidence issues and I don’t feel like it would go away. I continue to learn about myself, learn about others, and find ways to protect people from what I went through.
