Patrick loved taking pictures. It was his gift to the world. He adored every second of his craft. On this shoot, Patrick complained privately to me that he was not feeling well. It was the first time he showed a sign of weakness. I kept telling him to stay indoors that it was freezing outside, but there was no way "our" Patrick would not take these images. And not only take pictures but in pain and discomfort he still found the strength to make me laugh and appreciate the job we did. For all of us that had the privilege to work with him, knew how fast he was. He did each image in just a few frames and each picture just got better and better. On this day in 1943 we were blessed with this man. Didier is right, we miss him dearly. Happy Birthday dear friend. Hope your taking pictures in heaven. @patrickdemarchelier
