promo post: my mom and dad bought me this hat when they were in Las Vegas years ago. I treasure the hat. I was wearing it on a walk with my friend recently when I realized the hat was gone: not on my head, not in my hand, not in my bag. It was a windy day - could the hat have blown away without my noticing? I searched for many minutes for the hat until I gave up. I have learned to let go at this point in my life. Secretly I thought “if the hat wants me, it will find me.” I walked a little further and came upon the hat, sitting waiting for me like this on the street.
