I love a little asymmetry with my symmetry in design. Maybe my brain is slightly lopsided.... But that slightly off kilter moment? Knocks down the formality of a space and gives it a little unexpected visual variety in my eyes. Studies say that even symmetry affects who we are attracted to. Apparently they say symmetrical faces are more attractive? That’s just weird. My husbands nose is slightly off kilter and so is my sons.
