My best boy is broken, I’ve not talked about this because some how it’s not real if I don’t...but it’s time. Fox has had both his SI (sacroiliac) and hocks injected with steroids in the last two months as an attempt to reduce his discomfort when being ridden. Sadly Neither have made a huge amount of difference. Tomorrow we are heading up to Breadstone @bwequinevets equine hospital to investigate what it could be, my gut is it’s his suspensories which will be potential surgery or worst case writing him off to retirement, I’ve stopped googling because I’m stressing myself more and will leave it to the vets to work it out tomorrow. This guy is literally my everything so the outcome won’t change the fact he’s with me for life but it’s going to be pretty heartbreaking if that’s his ridden career over. Keeping busy and hoping for a resolution tomorrow, I’m sorry I’ve not said anything up until now I think I’ve just been in denial about the whole thing ❤️
